Diverse Chorus - Berlin
The date is fast approaching for the show which I am curating at Neurotitan in Berlin, Germany. The opening reception is September 19, and I, along with a small crew of other artists will be leaving for Berlin a couple days prior to install the show.
Stay tuned for a full report, as it’s bound to be a most excellent experience. Here is a tentative flyer (the official one is still in production).
DIVERSE CHORUS is a presentation of artists with whose work I’ve grown fondly acquainted. Each, finding a potent voice through a unique medium, there remains intact a common atmosphere within the collection. The “chorus” reveals the vastness of realizing a vision. My intent is to expose a new cast unto a new audience. I am deeply honored to have been given the opportunity to provide you a window, making visible some of the interesting practices artists are enlisting to form thoughts into artifacts which will be contrasted, pondered, absorbed, and learned from.
Take something away,
Kevin E. Taylor
Footnote-
The exhibition title, Diverse Chorus derives from wordplaying the concept “verse/chorus”; a common and accepted form of song composition. Here, a diverse collection of artists bound by a common motive is presented together as a group, or chorus (choir).
